Our first attempt at lawn repair back in April was not successful and our lawn was still pathetic looking so last week, we decided to try another method – Scott’s Patchmaster. It’s a 3 in 1 blend of Scotts grass seed, Starter™ Fertilizer and mulch. First we pulled up all the weeds, then we laid down 2 bags of lawn soil. We applied the product, which is dry and fluffy. As Nelson pointed out, you can even see the newspaper bits. After spreading it out as evenly as possible, we watered and have been doing so 2-3 times per day. You are supposed to do this for 7-10 days and you should see results.
This is what our lawn looks like now. Hopefully it will look lush soon.
