I recently saw the movie Twilight, a teen romance movie involving vampires. This is not a new movie, but we don’t watch a lot of movies. It is based on a novel by Stephanie Meyer. This is actually the first book in a series, based on the the two main characters, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.
I never expected to really get into a teen movie, especially one based on vampires, but the moment I laid eyes on Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson), I developed an instantaneous crush. Odd, seeing as he’s super pale and broody. But his character is dangerous, fast and strong, something I think many females fantasize about. Over the last couple years, I’ve crushed on the main character from Transporter and the guy from Avatar. All leading men; all heros.
I know Nelson is whining as he’s reading this. Baby, I love you. Edward Cullen is fictitious. I fantasize about the vampire, not the real boy. Yes, Robert Pattinson’s age makes him just a boy, and he’s just a “normal” guy that can’t fly or leap through trees. In real life, I want you.
