I was getting dressed in the closet this afternoon when I heard little feet scurrying across the attic floor overhead. I wasn’t sure if I was hearing correctly at first, but the second time when ‘it’ was running in the other direction, I knew those were the sounds of tiny feet. I told Nelson but he figured it was our neighbours, until I told him to be quiet and listen.
Too heavy sounding to be mice or squirrels, and with the sounds of claws clip-clapping along the floor boards it must be a raccoon or possum, but how could a raccoon get into the attic as they can be large animals. Or do we have a huge hole in our roof? Neither of us want to poke our head up there, so I think it means another call to the exterminators.
