Ontario Place is celebrating its 40th anniversary by offering free admission all summer long. It’s a move that boosted declining attendance by a whopping 42% two decades ago, drawing 2.4 million people during the attraction’s 20th anniversary in 1991.

The park will open May 21 and extend its open-gate season by two months until Nov. 13.

Specially ticketed events, such as concerts, Cinesphere, rides and concession stands will still cost you.
