Last night, on our way to Mt. Everest Restaurant, we were stopped at an intersection and out of nowhere, against the light, this guy was riding his bike BACKWARDS!
I wish I had thought to take a video, but I was in such awe and confusion as I watched him make a left turn from the curb, against the light, through the intersection. At least he took the time to look over his shoulder to ensure there were no cars. Nelson’s version of the story includes him playing a saxophone as well.
I am now concerned that Nelson is going to attempt this. For those that have no idea what I am talking about, check it out:
By the way, the food at Mt. Everest is really good. It’s a North Indian and Nepalese restaurant. We ordered:
- Khasi Ko Maasu – Goat meat cooked in typical Nepalese village style local spices and herbs.
- Chana Masala – Delicious chickpeas cooked in an exotic blend of north Indian spices and herbs.
- Chicken Tikka Masala – Marinated chicken cubes barbecued in tandoor, cooked in a Chef s special sauce with Indian spices and herbs.
