We went to sky100, the city’s highest indoor observation deck. It occupies the 100th floor of the tallest building in Hong Kong. The International Commerce Centre (ICC) is the 4th tallest building in the world.
Later in the evening, hubby, his cousin and I went to the Ladies Market but I wasn’t overly impressed. The markets are good for souvenirs, but clothing and handbags are not good quality. You can find knock-offs, but I prefer the real thing. We got to the market kind of late, as they were closing up. Afterwards, we hit a stinky tofu stand where I had my first taste of fermented tofu.
When we got back to the hotel, we had to wait in the dingy hotel bar in the basement. The hotel had shut down the electricity in the hallways and I guess the elevators were not in service. There were some unhappy looking guests waiting with us.
