Last night I had to transplant the borage and nasturium to 3-inch pots as the roots were growing through the mesh of the peat pellets. Being exposed, the roots would eventually dry out. In an attempt to prevent them from growing too leggy, I’m reflecting light back on to them using an old square wall mirror.
In my original starter tray, the chilli peppers have germinated! I had tried these in the middle of summer last year without success, but then again, they were a little neglected in my already busy garden. To be safe, I seeded 4, maybe 5 as I see 2 in one pellet.
They look so delicate.
