Also seeded on April 22, here are a couple more that have decided to make an appearance. It’s clear that the lemon cucumber is going to need to be transplanted, pronto. When I first saw this guy today, the roots were sticking out, but this picture was taken just after I misted so all the fuzzies are tamed. You can see the seed still holding on (click photo to enlarge).
Thyme was tricky to seed, because the seeds were super tiny, like the size of a pinhead if not smaller. It was late in the evening when I was doing this, so instead of meticulously trying to only pick out one seed per pellet, I dropped a few in. My other reason for doing it like this was because the seed packet was older so I wasn’t even sure if they would germinate. I think the seeds are still good.
