Infestation on ground cherry plant

The plant is going down hill. I’ve cut it back more. The decision was whether to bag it to risk the spread of spider mites and aphids, or to cut it back and leave it as the trap plant.

It wasn’t until I took these pictures that I noticed just how many bugs it has – red spider mites, green aphids and pink aphids. My biggest concern are the spider mites because they are so tiny. A gust of wind can easily carry them onto other plants, and I certainly do not want to bring any indoors!
