On Sunday, September 29th, come for a tasty tour at the David Suzuki Foundation’s first-ever Homegrown Park Crawl! Enjoy delicious food and great music as we crawl —by foot, bike and canoe — between four city parks along Toronto’s former Garrison Creek corridor.
Join 16 homegrown food vendors, 16 local groups, 4 local musical acts and the David Suzuki Foundation’s team of Neighbourhood Park Rangers in celebration of the first year of the Homegrown National Park Project.
PARK CRAWL SCHEDULE:
11:00am – Join us in Christie Pits Park to kick off the crawl
1:00pm – Crawl to Bickford Park
2:00pm – Parade to Fred Hamilton Park
3:00pm – Final parade to Trinity Bellwoods Park
Each of the four parks will host food booths, entertainment and eco-activities. Participants will be led from one park to the next by parade marshals and musical acts — including Lemon Bucket Orkestra and Choir!Choir!Choir!. More details to be announced.
Earlybird food tickets: 6 for $20 (Note: Food tickets will be 5 for $20 or $5 each at the event). Food tickets are non-refundable.
