The Pie Commission has opened a second location!

It has been months of planning, designing, and renovations, but on June 27th, the Pie Commission opened the doors to their downtown location.

Our fabulous pies are still being made at our main hub in Etobicoke. This new shop, located at 887 Dundas Street West (Dundas & Claremont), is a pie cafe that serves up our delicious handmade pies. It is licensed, so you can also order a pint of GLB beer to help wash down all that savoury goodness.

Tonight we held a house-warming party for our staff. We wanted the entire crew to check out the new space, and we wanted the recent new hires to have an opportunity to mingle with the long-time members of our pie family.

This next photo genuinely depicts the closeness of our staff. Although this is my first time working in the service industry, I feel as though we have something unique and special. I honestly cannot think of any other job I have held where I have laughed so much every single day. A year-and-a-half ago, I would never have believed I’d be working at a pie shop, but now, it’s hard to imagine not seeing these friendly faces every day.

The party was such a fun time, and I was pleased to see the finished space. It is casual and comfortable, with a fun and friendly vibe. So come by and say hello. We are open for business from Monday to Saturday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
